Past JENESYS participants or alumni are invited to participate in a four-day study tour in the Philippines. The event is entitled, “JENESYS, New Beginnings: Promoting an East Asia Community, Role of Young Leaders in Building a Shared Future” which is to be held in Manila, Philippines on June 12 to 17, 2010.
The event is organized by the Probe Media Foundation, Asian Institute of Management Team Energy and the Japan Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
The study tour hopes to build from the JENESYS programme and encourage sharing of best practices, provide skills training, plan for concrete and unique collaborative programs and create a wider network of future leaders in Asia and Oceania. The program outline has been developed, but JENESYS alumni will be asked for input and suggestions to be able to tailor the program to specific interests and issues.
Participants will be provided with accommodations, meals and all materials in the Philippines, arriving on June 12 and departing on June 17. Roundtrip airfare is not included. Participants should shoulder the costs of their own flight from origin country/province to Manila, as well as their overseas travel insurance.
All JENESYS alumni are requested to fill up the attached registration form and submit to the Probe Media Foundation by May 12. Those who will not be able to attend may also provide input to the program, be part of the cyber organizing committee, and submit materials for exhibit/sharing at the event. For those attending, please confirm your attendance by providing flight information and booking by May 26 at the latest.
